I liked this second book in the series. The characters were cute, the story was sweet and I enjoyed reading it. The only drawback I felt was the ending. It seemed like the ending of the book was rushed and tied up quickly. Other than that, good book.Product details

Allyson Lindt's "Sheltering His Desire" is the second tale in the Love Hack series, but you can read it as a standalone. Awww...love the sweet animal shelter bits of this. I love the "make out" scenes (you always need to spank it while reading Allyson Lindt!). The pacing is so good in this - not too fast or too slow. Tate is some serious mancandy. I read this one last and this is another really good series by Allyson.
I was gifted an ARC by the Author for an honest review. This was a six star read for me, Tate and Lys have amazing chemistry! Tate works with Lys's brother-who's overprotective of his little sister- and they are all friends since childhood. Tate has a reputation as a ladies man, specializing in one night stands and no attachments. Lys is so likable as a character, you will find yourself cheering for these two. Perfect, perfect, perfect!!!
Alyssia is a veterinarian. Tate is her brother's best friend and a part of her life since she was young. He sets up a program to help her raise money to expand her animal clinic. When a dog is brought in abused, she refuses to give it back to the owners. Which happens to be rich and sleeping with Tate's mother. Who is a world class witch! They start a campaign to have her shut down and take her to court. Tate has always been the one night stand type but one night just won't due with Alyssia. But she wants marriage and kids and he doesn't think he's good enough for her. With his family being so dysfunctional and not believing in happily ever after.
Smoking hot sex scenes. Horrible parents, who I wanted to slap. A protective big brother. And a sexy geek and beautiful doctor.

Loved this book. Tate and Lys are brilliant together, and he's so sexy hot sweet. So glad the entire series is out. Can't wait for Vivian's story.
Very much enjoyed this well written story and characters!! Not just sex!! Can't wait to read book 3 and to read more from this author!!
